This stunning oblong Limoges box has been crafted after a famous Peter Carl Fabergé 19th Century masterpiece, and produced under license from the Forbes Collection. This Coronation Box was originally created as an Imperial presentation piece, to celebrate the coronation of Russian Czar Nicholas II and his wife Czarina Alexandra Feodorovna in 1896. This Limoges porcelain box is a superb and faithful reproduction of the original in every aspect, right down to the carefully placed sparkling rhinestones. It belongs to our HOME ACCENTS collection, and is roughly 4.00 x 2.75 x 0.85 inches in size. Inside is a small painting of the Russian Crown Coat of Arms.
